How Plakar Integration Packages and Connectors work
Integration Packages bundle everything you need to back up, restore, and visualize a resource: they include a Source Connector, Destination Connector, Storage Connector, and Viewer.
Storage Connectors persist your snapshots: they handle writing, reading, and listing deduplicated, encrypted chunks to storage backends like S3 or a local filesystem.
At the core is Kloset, our immutable data engine that splits data into deduplicated, compressed, encrypted chunks addressed by content hash, creating portable, verifiable snapshots stored in a Kloset Store for fast access.
